Community of Entrepreneurial Leaders

Leaders Coming Together to Make a Difference

The Community of Entrepreneurial Leaders was designed to sign up a minimum of 75 businesses and/or individuals willing to invest $1,000 per year for 5 years in the ECGC Women’s Business Center.

Entrepreneurs are the backbone of the economy and have been critical drivers of job creation, productivity and economic growth.  The WBC in collaboration with the Community of Entrepreneurial Leaders can provide tools to assist entrepreneurs in developing their skills and in building their businesses.   You, as a community leader, will serve as a never-ending source of experience, knowledge, resources, introductions, ideas, advice, feedback and support.

Invest the financial resources in building a strong network of peers.  It will improve your business, save you effort and expense and enrich the journey.  A strong network really is the secret weapon of successful entrepreneurs.  We ask for your help in meeting our SBA commitment, allowing us to continue our work, providing critical services to our clients.

In return for your involvement, you will:

      •      receive recognition at all events and in printed materials;

      •     be invited to the annual meeting/reception to get an update on the ECGC WBC’s process, meet some of those you have helped and have an opportunity to introduce your company;

      •      receive a handsome “Community of Entrepreneurial Leaders” plaque to proudly display in your office;

      •      be listed as a member of Community of Entrepreneurial Leaders on the ECGC WBC website, www.ecgcwbc.com;

a tax deduction for your generous donation;
      be helping to bring new investment dollars into the Acadiana area by providing matching funds;
      be helping women and men, many of whom are socially and economically disadvantaged, start and run successful businesses which improve the local economy by creating jobs and wealth; and
      be reaching those sectors of the population currently underserved by other programs.
